Dances around the Bush a lot, but this IS basically a Low Carb High Fat diet plan with exercises included... and wrapped up in an overly fancy package (difficult to follow, but can charge more?).

It also goes into the realm of low calorie quite excessively. If truly Low Carb High Fat and moderately exercising, the somewhat low calorie "might" be needed for a time if significantly overweight.

Not bad, but there's better out there.

Cruise promises this book “combines the best science along with the newest research on losing the most difficult fat in a complete 12 week plan.” While I have not committed myself to this 12 week plan (after all, I’m here to review the content), I certainly see the benefit of a complete and comprehensive approach to dieting/weight loss.

Cruise has authored several books and has many online resources available. This book, while it consists of previously compiled information, proves he is an expert on this subject. Most reviews posted online of previous customers of Jorge Cruise products are not impressed with this book. As a beginner or starter product, this book is plentiful with its meal plans, workout plans, quotations, and affirmations. While the basics are the same in every Health and Wellness book, Cruise goes the extra mile with the addition of stress. Stress is a major factor in our daily lives and needs to be addressed. We all know the paradigm – Stress leads to ill feelings which leads to overeating (for some) which leads to weight gain. With this book Cruise integrates stress to combat ill feelings while altering daily habits.

As I write this, I see a lot of negative comments posted online toward Cruise personally and not the actual program which proves one point Cruise is trying to make. The power of positivity needs to be practiced every day in everything we do; not just weight loss.
