Full of "can't look away" moments, Dear Killer is a psychological thriller perfect for fans of gritty realistic fiction such as Dan Wells's I Am Not a Serial Killer and Jay Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why, as well as television's Dexter.

Rule One--Nothing is right, nothing is wrong. Kit looks like your average seventeen-year-old high school student, but she has a secret--she's London's notorious "Perfect Killer." She chooses who to murder based on letters left in a secret mailbox, and she's good--no, perfect--at what she does.

Her moral nihilism--the fact that she doesn't believe in right and wrong--makes being a serial killer a whole lot easier . . . until she breaks her own rules by befriending someone she's supposed to murder, as well as the detective in charge of the Perfect Killer case.

As New York Times bestselling author of the Gone series Michael Grant says, Dear Killer is "shocking, mesmerizing, and very smart."

This was an incredible book. It has a lot of inconsistencies that apparently don’t make sense (according to what people have said on goodreads) but you have to remember Ewell was only 17 years old when she wrote this. Instead, I focused on appreciating the story and its constituents. This book absolutely CAPTURED me the way no other novel has in a long, long time. I binge-read it over the course of three school days, between classes and homework, and I’m still reeling at the ending. It made me feel absolute terror, suspense, and ghastliness. I LOVED it.

Kit is a normal seventeen year old girl, except for the fact that she is a serial killer. People send her letters with kill requests, and she murders them without a trace. She goes about her business year after year, until one requests changes her life.

I liked the book even though I found it disturbing. Written by a 17 year old the narrative is from a teen serial killer whose mantra is "nothing is right , nothing is wrong". True relativism at it's scariest. If this is how the teen-aged brain works today (both author and fictional character) how shocking and surprising can the next school massacre really be.

Entrancing, macabre, thrilling. I couldn't put it down throughout the hours. I identified with Kit, who I believed represented the "dark side" of an average human being. I urged her relationship with Alex, and the end was heart wrenching, leaving your mind spinning and muddled, thinking, "What just happened?" and wishing for a sequel. Overall, an outstanding, must read.

I thought it was an amazing book. Gives the reader a total diffrent perspective on evil. But i dont like the ending i feel like it was just cut off. Other than that a great book

Violence: You must keep in mind that our main character is a sponsored serial killer. I had the nagging urge to count, so here you go: Kit murders a total of thirteen innocents within the span of the novel.
