Unfortunately, I found these Season 2 episodes (1962-1963) of The Dick Van Dyke Show to be only average, at best. I was very disappointed with this show. Its humour was only marginally amusing and entertaining.

From my perspective, "The Dick Van Dyke Show" was far too imitative of the "I Love Lucy" show from the 1950s, with Rob and Laura Petrie being Ricky and Lucy Ricardo, and then Buddy and Sally (Rob's co-workers), as well as Jerry and Millie (the Petrie's neighbours) each taking their turn, sharing the roles of Fred and Ethel Mertz.

In particular, it was actress Mary Tyler Moore, as Laura Petrie, who spoiled this show for me. Moore with all of her exasperating exasperation (Oh! Rob!) got on my nerves, big time. She was certainly no Lucille Ball.
