A surprisingly GOOD,fun 1960s movie with the original RAT PACK. Hollywood's version of acceptable, cool male behaviors in the 1960s. You must view it in 1960s era & socially accepted behaviors. 2021 behaviors are totally different

How disappointment, is the most polite to say about this piece of ....

The plot is a stretch, the premise is a stretch, the dialogue is stilted, the acting is awful, the ridiculousness is on parade.

The remake is fabulous, compared to this P.O.S.

Don't waste your time. I took that bullet for you.

LOTS of fine actors, etc. - but the plot meandered and was FAR too long in its development - I dropped out after an hour or so.

My favorite part of this film is near the end, when these iconic males exchange wordless glances as they realize their best laid plans have gone south. Otherwise, it's a snooze.

The 2001 Clooney and Company remake helmed by Steven Soderbergh is better by a mile and the cast just as classy.

Can't understand why anyone would decide to make a remake of this lousy movie.
Glad they did, but don't understand why they would.

The lighthearted approach is the main issue. It makes the film unexciting and not very suspenseful. I didn't care when Ocean's team predictably succeeded.

Note: This is a review of the remake.

An okay film about a well planned successful heist which does not net the criminals a dime. This film is better then the more recent remake.

The ultimate, ultra-cool,1960 'Rat Pack' casino heist flick, with endless booze swilling and cigarette smoking (obviously cirrhosis of the liver & lung cancer weren't big concerns of the day). Terrific twist ending!
