I didn't think this movie was anymore violent than Pulp Fiction, a movie I didn't like. Violet and Daisy is different from, let's stick with Pulp Fiction, in that it was funny in so many ways: the joke that Daisy didn't get because of her innocence. Then she told the joke to Gandolfini but gave the wrong punchline. I'm still laughing as I picture his face because he definitely didn't get it since by then it didn't make sense. Just the fact that Gandolfini is playing a sickly, fatherly figure, almost godly in fact, is funny considering he's a Soprano, remember? I had quite a few laugh out loud moments towards the beginning of the film but the laughter turned to curiosity and wonder as the movie unfolded. I thought the film was brilliant... genius in fact. Yes, these girls are packing heat but it's not to be taken seriously! It's a spoof! It's a little like Charlie's Angels but instead of Charley, it's Russ. However, if you choose to take it seriously, know that there have been many murderers in real life, who were much younger than Violet and Daisy, many only 11 or 12 years old. Google it for your own satisfaction. V&D is worth a second watch. Everything you expect, doesn't happen. Everything you don't expect, happens. I enjoyed the soundtrack too. Angel in the Morning plays as they complete their job, each in a Habit. Amusing.

This is one of the strangest films I've ever seen. Violet and Daisy definitely have a psychological problems because both girls seem like lost 12 year olds who kill people. But its also a film that drives you in curiously.

A one trick pony,.. and a slow pony ride. The sweet n' innocent pseudo-teens-as-killers riff gets old in half an hour. And Danny Trejo is on-screen for only three minutes ! Perhaps Quentin Tarantino fans may enjoy this film (?). (4-16-14: 7 ;4-18: 10)

Pretty strange black humor. Not bad, just strange.

Violet and Daisy are hired assassins. They are given what is described as a 'easy' job. But when they arrive, the mans strange reaction to them leads them to be curious. They begin to get to know him, and get to know themselves. Eventually Daisy finds out that Violet had another partner before her named Rose. The film hints that Violet killed Rose (however this is not entirely explained). And as time goes on others walk in and the girls kill them. And Violet ends up doing a lot of trips to a store to get Bullets. In the end Daisy kills the man. And the film ends with both girls walking away from each other.
