But her fame and beauty has earned her more than she ever imagined and evil threatens her life. Swanson, or Swanny' as his teammates call him, is always up for the next mission. He came back from Afghanistan wounded and scarred. Hardly the kind of man who even belongs in the same room with Eden. Ok, I changed my mind. I ADORE Christine Feehan and she recommends it soooooo...

This should have been a novella. Really too bad for Swanny. Lots and lots of repetition ; there was no need to rehash the same information. The other stories in KGI were a lot better. The editor did not do his/her job for this one.

This book was not good at all. Maya is fast losing me as a reader. There was too much back and forth between Swanny and Eden about who was more deserving of whom. The story just did not ring true. It follows the same theme as the previous book After the Storm. She is not doing the characters justice.

Not as good as the others. Lots of repetition of previous books and lots of insecurties of the main couple which is unusual for Maya Banks books. And a bit boring during the middle of the book, while they soul search and wait for the action.
