I got this book along with every other D-Day resource I could get my hands on for reference and completing some of my own writing on the subject. This is a "young reader's adaptation" -- I get it ... from looking at the topics I'm familiar with, the author(s) not only glossed over details but also present them Wrong Wrong Wrong. I'm not sure this or Deborah Hopkinson's is the worst D-Day book available -- at least her's isn't entirely useless.
