A well made TV mini-series look at the classic. The characters are a little more adult than the original version of the movie.

An odd mix of faithful adherence to the original story, and violent departure from it. Eddit Izzard looks and plays just like Tim Roth in "Muppet Treasure Island." Penry-Jones version of Trelawney is a marvelous piece of acting, but completed disjointed from the original. (And, are they coming home, broke, in debt, with mother in a whorehouse, and lawsuits waiting for them?)
