Mud and SandStreaming Video - 1922
This silent classic, a parody of Rudolph Valentino's Blood and Sand, was a breakout role for burgeoning comic legend Stan Laurel (still a few years shy of being teamed up with fellow comedy actor Oliver Hardy). Here, he plays a young bullfighter who rises to great fame. But he's struck down in his prime after an extramarital indiscretion. Laurel's comedy timing is impeccable as visual gags abound and the slapstick never stops!
