To be honest, the only reason I rented this is because I found it on this site during a search for Harry Connick Jr stuff. I didn't expect much, but even if you aren't a 'piano fan' this is worth watching. I didn't even watch most of the DVD, but I loved the mini interviews with Harry. Not only does he talk about how he got into music but also about his late mother, which I found very touching.

Beautifully and lovingly filmed study of the creation of a concert grand piano from raw lumber to selection by an artist for performance. The film is a love song to fine hand craftsmanship and the teamwork needed to create a fine piano. Anyone who enjoys classical or jazz piano music will probably like this film very much.
