This movie was disappointing and frankly boring. I don't even think that children would find that it would hold their interest for too long when they are used to the likes of Pixar and other amazing animation in video games. I found the story about a Paleontologist's daughter who goes back to the Cretaceous period to be phoney and the acting was poor. It looks like it happens in her head as she is in the Museum of Natural History the whole time. The scenes with the dinosaurs was very poor animation, not the quality I thought an IMAX movie would be. At the very beginning, it showed Paleontologists in the field excavating dinosaur bones and that was interesting. I would have enjoyed seeing more of that rather than the movie.

WARNING!! - If you are excitedly looking forward to a really awesome, rip-roarin' dinosaur adventure story here (with monstrous creatures like T-Rex in your face, non-stop), then be prepared for a major let-down.

Had this 45-minute IMAX presentation been made into a serious documentary, then, yes, it might have worked its intended magic on the audience so much better. But as its story stood (about a ditzy, modern-day, teenage girl going back to prehistoric times) - It sucked dinosaur eggs, big-time.

Believe me - This fossilized freak show is far from being worthy entertainment for adults - But, perhaps, the little tykes (who do tend to be less critical about these things) might be willing to forgive this dino-dud for its total disappointment factor.
