Summary
Add a Summary“Think Like a Man” was a 2012 romantic comedy hit featuring some of the movie world’s biggest upcoming and present day stars. The film follows four main plots spread across 4 different couples as they strive to find true happiness and love. “The Mama’s boy vs. Single Mom”, “The Non-Committer vs. the Girl who wants the ring”, “The Dreamer vs. the Woman who is her own man” and finally “The Player vs. the 90 day rule girl.” The woman within each relationship discovers the “Act like a Lady, Think like a man” book which transcends their regular thought process for how to get a man and how to get them to do what they desire. The movie only gets better when the men get a hold of the book adding opportunity for extreme comedic and just plain interesting situations to occur. This movie gives a better light on the different thought processes men have on women and the other way around. Also, like mentioned before some of the awesome cast members include Regina Hall, Terrence J and rolling out the film with a comedic punch is Kevin Hart. The film received mixed reviews from the general public because it was criticised for being just like every other romantic comedy film. It was just a new version or a more modern version of an old romantic comedy. A review website known as Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie a rating of 53%, based on 96 reviews, with an average rating of 5.6/10 because of this. Even with the quality of review “Think Like a Man” has had, I still believe that this is a great movie and personally, I would rate it with a 7 to 8 out of 10.

Add a CommentPeople in broken relationships are in a very good place to advise us what "not" to do in a relationship. Even in their brokenness, at least people like Harvey and Cosby tried to spread a message of hope Unlike most of us stone throwing hypocrites.
This romantic/comedy is about a group of friends who are having trouble making things work the way they want to with the women in their lives. After each of their girlfriends begin reading a relationship book written by Steve Harvey, the men’s lives get turned upside down. That is, until, the men get their own copy of the book and flip it around. This movie is essentially just two hours of couples having terrible communication skills and essentially lying and deceiving one another, which was entertainment in and of itself. I didn't find this movie particularly amazing, but I did find it funny enough to keep watching. I would rate this movie 2.5/5 stars.

"Think Like a Man & Act Like A lady" is based on a book by 3 times divorced comedian Steve Harvey. Spare Me. The men are portrayed as pussy whipped & the woman are portrayed as scheming bitches. Sex in the City TV series was better. "Think like a Man" is a book spin off & reminds me of another book spin off from the 1960's entitled "Sex & the Single Girl". it was also trite. "Think Like a Man..." is a light comedy perhaps for the desperately single young naive woman. Men wouldn't go for this movie. This reviewer is female & I wouldn't take any advice from a douche bag like Steve Harvey.
Too many black females (especially in the USA & UK) are too MASCULINE for their own good in real life already period.I don't need and i don't want the 3 TIMES DIVORCED House Negro Steve Harvey to turn more black females into MASCULINE FEMINISTS,which is exactly what this movie as well as the book is doing period. This is why black females finish LAST for real LOVE and marriage before having sex and children,BUT YOU DON'T HEAR ME THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found it to be a fun movie. Heartfelt at times. A bit unrealistic but it is a movie after all.
After all the hype really expected more from this movie. Has entertainment value but not as interesting. Its all been done before.
