This movie is frustrating. Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren are both so good. The movie gets off to a great start. Ian McKellen plays a devious elderly con man and Helen Mirren is his innocent mark. After trying to watch 2 bombs before this one, wow! Rescued with this one. Great film with great acting & great plot, a winner for sure.

I think this theme has been used once too many and it has become predictable.Spoiler.. The con artist is conned. Roy and his partner are so evil in this movie. It is rather depressing, but well acted.

3* ok movie. A little drawn out at times.

This movie is frustrating. Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren are both so good. The movie gets off to a great start. Ian McKellen plays a devious elderly con man and Helen Mirren is his innocent mark. But is she so innocent? The set up is great, and there are some nice twists and turns in this cat and mouse story. But then along comes a even bigger twist that just seems to come from left field and which turned it into a different movie. The tone suddenly changes and then it doesn't seem to know what kind of movie it is anymore. It's too bad, because McKellen and Mirren are so good and the movie had such a promising start. I love plot twists and turns, but this one had one plot twist too many and it just falls apart in the end. Frustrating, because this one had so much potential.
