I didn't think this was going to intrest me much but I was pleasently suprised. Some things (the bridge scene) were too far fetched but overall I wasn't bored or wondering how much longer it was.
Good adventure/action movie for a night at home.

99 percent of this movie is sword fighting. that's it. Big disappointment.

Not a bad movie... but certainly not the most captivating either. An interesting adventure of a crusader with a sense of repulsion, ethics and morals beyond blindly following the commands of the church. Some of the effects were good. I agree with one of the other reviewers that at some point, the movie becomes confused, and thinks it should be a horror.

I was warned by both the 'reviews' and individuals who had already screened this movie, but did I listen? Unfortunately, no, I didn't. That's two hours of time I will never get back, wasted...

I looked forward to watching this - I am fascinated with the Middle Ages, and the first scene with the three witches was promising.
After that it was downhill - at the risk of offending anyone reading this, and I have to be careful how I word this, but I do find that productions such as this are much better when they come from the U.K.. The two lead actors seemed to me more suited to carrying out their actions in a Western. There were other things that I thought could have been done better, but I don't want to spoil the story for those who haven't seen the film.
The costumes and settings looked good, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This movie has quite a few gaping plot holes. It is about two ex-crusaders who are excommunicated for desertion. They are to be executed for their desertion and are given a choice: Transport a harmless looking accused witch or face execution. They of course choose the witch. The store moves along, stuff happens... It makes one question: is she a witch? is she not a witch? At the end of the day, they are taking her somewhere to get a book that can be used to destroy her. Most people with common sense would just send one person on a horse for the book, but not these guys. All in all makes for an "it was okay" but I wouldn't watch it again movie.
