Great rhyming and comparison book. Highly recommend it for learning pre literacy skills and English language learners.

This lovely rhyming book is great to read with young children. It introduces colours as well as actions, and does eventually answer the title question.

It is good that the book introduces the concepts of colour and opposites, but I didnt really like the story or the illustration.

Mem Fox always does a nice job. My toddler liked this funny picture book, trying to find the green sheep. It teaches a variety of vocabulary and has a nice thyme and rhythm.

I wasn't sure whether this would still be suitable for my just-turned-four grandson. I live far from his family, and read with them via FaceTime. Well, the rhythms, rhymes, humour, mystery and artistry of this book kept his interest enough…

I use the Big Book version of this book for Toddler Storytime, and it's a big hit. We like to make obnoxious snoring noises and close the book very carefully at the end of the book so we don't wake up the green sheep! Pairs nicely with the…

A fun read that rhymes nicely, but there's really not a story at all. Each verse just lists different types of sheep and then asks "but where is the green sheep?" The illustrations are nice, though, and if you read it several times, you…

Looking for the green sheep among many various other sheep. I like the sense of humor in the tale. I had the children say with me "but where is the green sheep?" as the sentence repaets several time in the tale.

The summary on the back page of Where Is the Green Sheep? reads: "The story of many different sheep, and one who appears to be missing." I couldn't have said it better myself! As well as teaching about opposites, this book has humour,…

all my kids love it - the oldest can easily read it to the younger ones & it's simple enough that that my youngest can "read" it all by herself.

I thought this book would be too "easy" for my son (thin sheep, thick sheep, high sheep, low sheep, etc), but he liked the ending, and he LOVES stories where he has to find a character in the picture. Plus the illustrations are very cute.
