An exciting story. Lots of twists and turns to keep one turning the pages. There is one caveat: if you find heightened sexual scenes offensive, you might want to skip this book. Otherwise, just speed-read over the 'guilty' paragraphs.
Myself and 3 friends that I loaned this book to, could not put this book down.
All of us thoroughly enjoyed it.
Really liked this book! Couldn't put it down at the end. Great suspense, was surprised at ending
I enjoy Sandra Brown books a lot. This one kept my attention and kept me guessing throughout. There were a few surprises that I didn't see coming, some I did. However, I didn't really like the two main characters. The man was too over-the-top macho, the stereotypical hero who is brash on the outside but has a soft spot or two. The woman was also stereotypical, the persistent but innocent woman who finds herself in grave danger. Their relationship is also predictable. Regardless, I enjoyed the story line very much and really liked the surprises towards the end.
Sandra Brown writes books that are page turners until you get to the end. This book is no different. I had a hard time putting it down. When Kerra Bailey was a little girl she was carried out of a building in the Major Franklin Trapper. The building had been bombed and he managed to save a few people. His son, John Trapper, a former FBI agent could not let this case go. He quit the FBI before he was fired. When Kerra came to him and asked him to help her meet the Major. She wanted to do a special on TV and let the world know that she was the little girl in the picture being carried by the Major. After doing the special, someone tried to kill the Major and her. John could not let this go and set out to prove who did the bombing and killings. This was a very good book from beginning to end.
I have always enjoyed work by this author, and this one did not disappoint! I loved the development regarding the relationship between father and son. All in all, a very good read.
I really like the story. First time reading from this author and will not be my last. Great story with Father and Son.
Thought it was a great book, but, I think all her books are good. Looking forward toher next one!!
Rather disappointing. Book only comes alive the last few chapters. Should give it a miss but if you are Sandra Brown'fan then ......
AWESOME!! Sandra Brown has a way of drawing you in to whatever plot is unfolding. From the very beginning I couldn't put it down. I was on the edge of my chair with anticipation, wondering who the villain was. Very suspenseful with a surprise ending I was not expecting!
