This was a momentous read, which left me with a surplus of emotions, including greater awareness and empowerment! Rose allowed herself to be vulnerable, yet compelling in a way which enriches all who read this memoir. In this current wave…

July 2018 "Brave", is an appropriately titled book: I felt no child or anyone, should ever have to endure her hardships and struggles for basic survival necessities, the way Rose did which was very sad, shocking & upsetting - I felt…

The book was an eye opener to expose the truth about the entertainment world of the sexist industry. The author, Rose, holds nothing back, so a lot of bad language. After reading this book, any movies that show nudity, or sexy, will…

the author's story is harrowing and she tells it in a relentless manner. I thought the last 2 chapters were very powerful, and they made the whole book 'sing' for me.

It's hard to even come up with the words to describe this. McGowan has a lot to say and she deserves a listen.

This was an amazing memoir, and after anticipating its release, I was not disappointed. The one thing that I was not happy with was the ending. It seemed like it was just space to plug her current projects. That being said, I would…

Definitely worth some time!! This is a very good story. Thought-provoking. Tragic. Dramatic. Enticing. Although some passages were latent with spoken and written cliches of the English language, it was easy to get past it to investigate…

“Brave” by Rose McGowen is impossible to read. She is so angry that she cusses constantly, and uses graphic sexual terminology to explain her feelings. Men and women at the homeless shelter communicate similarly, and yes, I know this…
